Giveaway - Diapers and Wipes Pod

In honor of Kasia’s “I’ve got hair wrapped around my toe” trip to the ER this past weekend, I’m making this month’s giveaway about doctor visits. To enter, comment on this post and share your most unique reason for visiting the doctor with your kids. Or, if all of your doctor visits have been hum drum (lucky you!), share a bit of advice about getting kids through doctor visits. Or give me some tips for staying out of the doctor’s office. I’ll randomly select one of the comments to win a Diapers and Wipes Pod.

The Diapers and Wipes Pods are these cute little pods in which you can pack just the bare baby essentials: wipes and a couple diapers. They come with a matching diaper pad which is as funky as the pod exterior. The Diapers and Wipes pods are great for that quick trip out the door when you don’t want to lug along the whole diaper bag.

When you comment, make sure you include your first name and e-mail address so we can let you know you’ve won. You also might also want to add your e-mail to the mailing list for this blog so that you know when we have our next contest! The deadline for this contest is December 12th. Good luck and stay healthy! :)

  1. My reason for visiting the ER last week was my son having an allergic reaction to onions (at least we think it's onions). His whole face started to swell, break out, & turn red, the sneezing & coughing started, both ears turned beat red, he threw up, and after 2 1/2 hours in the waiting room filled with the flu, he started to break out all over his body. It was unbelievable. I hope to never do that again! BTW, after a few doses of a steroid, he's just fine. Great Giveaway - Thanks!

  2. Thankfully, all of my visits have been for routine check-ups and shots. However, I'm only 6 months into this parenting thing, and with a little boy, I'm sure I will have some stories to tell.

    Thanks for the giveaway!

  3. Most of my doctor's appointments have had to do with ears... ear infection, ear fluid, tube placement, ear check-ups... etc... I should think you should be the one giving advice, but mine is that I try not to bring siblings to appointments... too distracting!

  4. Hmmm.. advice about doctor's visits - here is mine - you never know when to take them and when not to. Got that wonderful call at work that my daughter had a 99.5% temp so I had to come pick her up at day care - needless to say ... I was upset since it was a busy day at work so I thought I'll just take her to the doctor to show how healthy she is ... yes... you guessed it - double ear infection and strep throat. Same daughter - totally lathargic after puking most of night - can't keep anything down so we make the decison to go to ER in middle of night - she can barely open her eyes and doesn't move for the whole trip.. until the doctor walks into the room which is when she immediately perks up, sits straight up - gives him a huge smile and big "HI !".. Hmm guess we really didn't need to go to the ER. So - I have no advice !! Sue

my advice for getting my young'ns through their doctor visits is bring the play stethoscope and other "doctor" toys! And play a lot of "doctor visits" at home before the real deal!
